This trail is approximately 2.14 miles long and features an elevation gain of 581 feet, making it a moderate to challenging hike. The trail offers a variety of natural features, including a dense forest of pine and oak trees, a creek, and a panoramic view of the San Jacinto Mountains. The trail begins at the Humber Park trailhead and ascends steadily to the Tahquitz Peak, the highest point of the trail. From there, hikers can enjoy a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trail then descends to the Saddle Junction and continues through a forested area before returning to the trailhead. The trail is open year-round, but snow can make the trail more challenging in the winter months.
