Edwin Way Teale Memorial Sanctuary is a 2.1 mile loop hike that takes you by a lake located near Hampton, Connecticut.

The trail is 38 miles long and is moderately trafficked. The trail is predominately used for scenic driving, and is accessible year-round. Enchanted Rock is definitely the highlight of this route!

This trail follows the San Antonio River and is technically the San Antonio River Aqueduct. This trail is best used during the day, as the area is remote and the lighting is poor. If you are on the trail past 5pm, park on the street to avoid getting your car towed. There is a walk box with a map available at the Rangers' desk at Mission San Jose.
