Hike to the Martis Peak Fire Lookout

Easy hike to follow. Amazing views when you get to the top. We went over Memorial weekend and it wasn't very crowded, but I can imagine this place gets packed later in the summer. If you're in the area, grab some wine, cheese, and crackers and get up there!

Absolutely beautiful! The walk is only a 1 mile loop but it has a quick incline. At each spur, we were able to walk out to a point over looking the ocean where we saw a pod of whales. I recommend doing this if you are staying in the area and need to escape for a little while.
