The google maps took me to a random spot in the road - keep following the road up and yiu will eventually finding a parking spot right near the trail head. There was a moderate inclunce but as everyone else says, someone who has done hikes before wont have a problem. I think going in the fall time is the move - the aspens werr beautiful, it was so colorful, and bexause of the recent big storm the water falls were pouring and the creeks were brimming. Great hoke for the doggo lots of rock trails thiugh so make sure your dog’s paws are ready for that kind of stress. The lake was breathtaking. I did this trip alone (27 female) and i loved it. Felt safe
