Beauitful hike in the Redwoods to a very small waterfall. The waterfall isn’t the most impressive but the entire hike is beautiful and worth doing. This hike has a little bit of elevation change but is still kid friendly. Theres a large parking lot at the trailhead.

One of the best hikes in the Redwoods. You get a great feel for the park on this peaceful hike and amazing tall trees. Its kid friendly, well marked and easy to find parking.

Perfect hike for kids. Trail is flat and easy to navigate.

Great family hike! My 2.5 year can do the entire hike by herself. The trail is wide and well maintained. It can get crowded so I recommend starting early.

Great short boardwalk hike, especially for young kids! You can see tons of butterflies from Nov to Feb. Theres a large paid parking lot or free with CA state parks pass.

Great family friendly beach! It can get crowded, but wasn’t too bad in the morning. Large paid parking lot or you can use the CA state parks pass.

Great hike if you’re camping at Dogwood Family Campground. Its located within the campground and is walkable from most camp sites. Its well marked and shaded. Great for families and we saw a couple of deer!

Great trail for a family hike! The trail is pretty wide and not too steep with great views at Inspiration Point. There about 5-7 free parking spots that fill up really early, otherwise its paid parking at the state park.

Easy and mostly flat urban hike, mix of dirt and paved trail. Its great for a nice family walk or for running.

Perfect for families! The trails are kid friendly and there’s a lake with ducks, multiple playgrounds and public bathrooms within the recreation area. Note parking is free on weekdays and $7 per day on weekends and holidays

Great workout! I’ve done this running up the stairs and climbing it while baby wearing. I usually go uo the stairs and back down the trail. It can get very crowded, so go early in the morning if possible. Street parking along Jefferson at the base of the stairs
