I love this hike but it is SUPER crowded. There is not a lot of tree coverage the second half so make sure to bring plenty of water in the summer. Mosquitoes are relentless.

Absolutely love this campground, but it fills up really fast in the summer so make sure you plan accordingly. We stayed for one night. There’s river access all over and we ate dinner sitting along the bankside. The area is really clean and everyone kept to themselves.
