Made it out for sunrise on a Friday morning and had the whole trail to myself. Very peaceful.

Ski to Redfish Lake

I snowshoed in to the lake and explored the area this last Saturday. The area is incredibly beautiful. The road to the lake is groomed well and can be walked with or without snowshoes. Off trail however, the snow was very deep(mid-March). I found it to be very quiet and I saw few people until some skiers arrived at nearly noon. The view of the snow capped Sawtooth Mountains was well worth the effort.
