Kyle Anderson

Great trip. Starts out with a pretty steep/rocky trek, then levels out. Spent night at the Overmountain Shelter--amazing views and would make sure to crash there for the night for the view, though does make for a little bit of a short day 1/longer day 2. Views from Little Hump and Big Hump are great--be wary of false summits and push on to the top. After Big Hump, a good bit of downhill elevation change.

Amazing that this is so close to downtown Roswell. Nice series of trails--great for a family outing. Plenty to see on the trails--waterfalls, old mills, etc--and the trails are well maintained. If you pay attention to the markers, you'll do well.

Easy enough to take the kids, but hard enough to let you know you did something. Great view at the end; trail well maintained and very clear. Very convenient--close to Cumming and easy access not too far off of 400
