Popular for folks with dirt bikes so it is important to be aware of them. Great natural area, usually a lot of stinging nettle around outside of the winter and early spring.

Very long trail that cuts through Ankeny– great for walkers, runners, and cyclists. Only complaint is that it can get busy and you have to be attentive with bikes passing as a walker.
