I have packed and hiked thousands of miles in the Rockies and sierra mountains. With that being said, this hike was probably the most beautiful all around Hike I have ever trekked! From the start it is somewhat challenging incline. The July show of wildflowers, waterfalls, rock formations and ultimately the high mountain aqua blue lake was an amazing climax. Take a suit with you and dive into a take your breath away crystal clear lake. Ice is right! I will definitely repeat this one. Not for the weak at heart. Take your time and enjoy the climb!

This is a great hike back into some beautiful views of the river, however there is a sign marked 4 miles from that point and it is more like 6 miles. So after 4 miles keep going. Most people get frustrated and go back to soon. Shallow pools and hard to get to. Just go and enjoy the amazing hike and if you want to do a 12 miler then the hot springs may be a treat! Have fun!

Great little hike down. When reaching bottom stay right to make it to the falls. You will see a three tiered fire pit and directly down to the river there are several natural hot springs! Please be kool and pack out your trash. This little treasure deserves some respect! Enjoy

This is an excellent all day hike! There are some challenging up hills. The scenery just gets better and better the farther in you go. The first falls are spectacular, however don't stop there because just another 1/4-1/2 mile there are some beautiful pools and cascading falls to enjoy. I recommend at least 3 liters of water for this hike and remember 4 miles in four miles out! Enjoy
