Hike Apache Creek Greenway

The Missions San Jose-San Juan trail is used for hiking and mountain biking, and is accessible year-round. Dogs are allowed on trail but must be kept on leash. Please avoid these trails at night due to the remoteness of certain areas on the trail.

This loop is great for families and all skill levels. The gardens are open year round, and feature different seasonal flower assortments. The San Antonio Botanical Gardens has an entrance fee of $10 per adult. The gardens have a small cafe for a quick bite to eat. The gardens feature flowers, ponds, birds, and are an overall wonderful education experience. 

The trail runs alongside a river and is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running. Dogs are welcome on this trail. There is a pond in the middle of the loop trail, and the park has playgrounds for dogs and for kids.
