Forest trail with captivating views, wildflowers and wildlife. A great hike for all skill levels, located outside San Antonio, TX.

You can park in the big lot on Park Road (see map). This trail is a 6.9 mile loop, shared by bikers and hikers and is accessible year-round.

June 17th Bday Run

We ran out 5miles and back, saw the dino tracks on the way. Awesome environment, would love to go back and explore more of Government Canyon. It is a very rocky path, so wear the right shoes and gear.
