At 8 acres, Ruby M. Mize is the largest azalea garden in Texas. This garden is located within a 50-year old Loblolly Pine forest and is home to 6,500 azaleas, 200 camellias and 180 varieties of Japanese Maple. The garden is in full bloom the end of March - beginning of April.  Address:  2107 University Dr, Nacogdoches, TX 75962

This campground has 17 walk-in sites and 1 drive in site, all come with tent pads, fire pits with a bbq rack, lantern posts, and trash receptacles.
