Description

Added by Samantha Ruddock

Just west of Austin, sits a hidden gem of Lake Travis with tons to do for the adventurer.

Pace Bend Park sits west of Austin, just outside of Marble Falls with hundreds of primitive campsites and twenty improved campsites. With so many campsites, you can sit atop the limestone cliff, amongst the trees, or down on the beach front. Every location delivers on the colorful sunrise and sunset views.

The park sits on over 1300 acres and is wrapped by Lake Travis giving everyone something to do everyone. The limestone cliffs and deep water allow for cliff jumping (be cautious of water levels) and deepwater rock climbing. In the interior of the park, there are tons of trails for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and horseback riding. For the mountain biker, at the back of park is a skills area!

Bring your friends and family and enjoy a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the serenity that sits so close to Austin.
