Description

Nashville has a lot to offer, but natural overlooks are hard to come by. If you're looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view, this 30-minute drive outside of the city is exactly what you need.

From the parking lot, walk up the same road the direction you entered. Just a little up the hill to the left, you will see the trailhead for the Bluff Overlook. It's only about a 0.25 mile hike, but the initial walk up the hill is steep. Once you reach the top, there are several points to sit and look out over the river as it flows through miles of Tennessee farmland and hills.

Bluff Overlook Trail Reviews

Short little hike with great views! Watch for snakes though, as usual. 😬

I would definitely recommend this for fall time so you can see all the different colors of the trees. Very beautiful though and steep climb. I had my dog with me and I had to pick her up a few times to get her on the rocks but the view was definitely worth it.

One of my favorite easy go-to for a quick sunrise spot. So peaceful and easy to do. I also love to take friends to hangout for a sunset spot and then stop in town at the square at that awesome pizza joint. Solid hiking spot!

You dont have to far to get to anything really. And theres lots of caves you can find, me and my younger brother explored through one cave for like 15 minutes and then crawled our way back for another 15 minutes

Check out this spot on the way out of Nashville. Easy to find, great trail and beautiful view.
