Firey Gizzard, Dog Hole and Ravens Point Reviews

It’s a great hike. Just know that even though it says 8.8 miles, it is actually 11.5.

This is one of the great hikes of Tennessee. Be prepared to traverse long stretches of rock fields on which you’ll need good balance and strong ankles. There’s one steep climb leading to the ridge line that takes you to Raven’s Point, but the elevation change isn’t too bad other than that stretch. Enjoy this one. It’s moderately tough.
