Really great place to relax with family or friends. Cliffs, currents, and even a cave!

Starting at Crazy Horse Canoe Rentals which is right off of Waynesboro Highway 13 before the bridge going over the Buffalo River. You will be in the gravel parking lot. Once you exit the vehical you can walk towards the river and to the right past the rv parking lot you will fine yourself to a little store to rent a kayak or a canoe depending on your preference unles your brought your own kayak/canoe. You will have to fill out a group form that will give a certain time to finish because there will be a shuttle that will transport you back to the start when you reach however long you wish to take. There are different miles to take (8, 10, or the 21 miles which is overnight camping). There are two cliffs I came across on the 10 mile. About halfway during the mile there is a cave you can explore if you're willing enough to deal with small spaces and your feet getting a little cold due to the little water on some parts of the cave. There are markers letting you know where you are you just have to look for them but some are very obvious like the end of the 10 mile float which is a giant painted blue rock.
