Hiking to the Steam Vents in Hudson’s Hope

After turning left on to ski hill rd, the next right hand turn is unmarked but the only one until you hit the ski hill buildings which is too far. This road is rough in a few spots and has a recent washout- I didn't have enough clearance but a truck will be fine. I parked there and hiked the rest of the road, turning it into about an 8km RT . Go left onto the powerlines and follow until the trail head sign-easily seen. Lots of rabbits and deer (until the dogs chased them away). The trail is in pretty good shape-i recommend hiking boots. Had lunch by the steam vents and enjoyed the view; it is spectacular! Checked out the w.a.c. Bennett dam tour and had a snack in their little cafe. A great day trip!
