Slovak Paradise (Slovak: Slovenský raj) is a mountain range in eastern Slovakia and is very popular with hikers as it has a number of unusual routes through gorges and waterfalls. There are numerous sections where fixed ladders are used to climb.
This hike was done on the route called "Prielom Hornadu" connected to the "Tomasovsky Vyhlad". It's really easy to follow the road as there are signs everywhere. You just ride the bus or park your car at place called "Cingov" follow the signs (first blue mark all the way to "Biely Potok - razcestie" then green mark to Tomasovsky vyhlad and from there yellow mark will take you straight back to "Cingov") Enjoy your adventure!
For this hike I went with my best partner, my brother. We started unusually late at 5 pm, because we wanted to come at the last viewpoint of the hike at the time of sunset. And we barely made it!
This hike is suitable for everyone who is not afraid of little adventure. There are passages where you need to walk on metal platforms over the gorge.
