This was a huge disappointment. I had researched this before we came down to TN. No where in my research did it say this was a private quarry. You can only kayak there if you rent from Ijams. We were told to go down the road to the visitor center and we could put our kayaks in the river! We didn’t want the river we wanted quiet, still waters! If you have your own kayaks don’t go here ! Huge waste of our time!
