Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito Reviews

Best not to do it in the summer when it will likely be foggy and cold. Best seasons are spring and autumn.

Chill, enjoy the tourists, the wind, the hill: steep climbs up to the bridge so take the ferry back. Forgot your bike? plenty of places to rent

You can either bike back from Sausalito or bike further down to Tiburon and take ferry (or bike) back to San Francisco.

Done this many times. This is my #1 favorite thing to do when friends and family visit. It isn't too strenuous, and you get amazing views of SF, with the option of taking a ferry back.

there is nothing better than Bob's Donut , it just awesome

If your coming from the Mission, take Polk St back and stop at Bob's Donuts along the way. Great end to an awesome day.
