This kayak launch is located within an array of restaurants and shops, and provides free parking spots. Whether you rent or bring your own kayak, you won't be disappointed with this amazing spot. You'll be able to kayak to see sights such as Petco Park, the USS Midway, Naval Station North Island, the San Diego convention center, the award winning Coronado bridge, and downtown's skyscrapers. It is truly a remarkable sightseeing experience all within your control. If it's your first time don't worry; with these calm waters, learning will be a breeze. This bay allows you so much room to explore duration time will vary depending on your pace of exploration. If you need to rent a kayak I reccomend Coronado Kayak Tour because they are located right near the launch.

There are many different beaches located all throughout the bay which allow you to dock your kayak and take a nice swim. Many of these beaches are very secluded making them perfect places to relax. You'll want to allot yourself plenty of time to explore all that this bay has to offer!

When you're finished be sure to check out the restaurants and shops located nearby. They have everything from fast food to fancy sit downs. Your adventure doesn't stop once you're done exploring the Coronado bay. There's plenty to explore on the island of Coronado so be sure to check it out!

Great Vantage Point

Kayaking the bay is a great way to get a different vantage point of downtown San Diego. It's also a great morning workout as well.
