I love this park. This particular trail is dominantly a smooth boardwalk, with the exception of the boulder you slide between. This is one of the easiest trails at the park, and a good family hike. I enjoy going in the morning or evening because you get to see the most wildlife. It's in a valley that is cooled by a spring, so even in the hot summers, the temperature seems cooler on this trail. The park also has some summer programs. One of them is the night hike, where you hike the spring trail in pitch black with the exception of the guide's red light. You can listen to the roar of the night animals. This trail is worth a visit, but you will likely be tempted to keep exploring.
