Like most others have noted, well worth the 2 mile hike. I went in late August a few years back (2014 or so) and had the place nearly all to myself. The pool in the photo was perfect temperature wise and the view was tremendous. I wish I had taken more photos. Many notations about snakes - I didn't see any and I did spend probably 3 to 4 hours there. Saw one other couple as they were on the trail going past this spot.
