I did something way out of my comfort zone. I went solo down into a lava river cave at 1:30 in the morning to do some photography. This place is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by miles and miles of forest and wilderness. The night before I had gone with three other friends but I had forgotten to take my camera with me. I knew I had to capture this beautiful spot before I left the area, but going there by myself was definitely an intimidating thought for me. I also knew that I had to do it BECAUSE it scared me. So down my dog Tripp and I went, a half mile into the earth, to stand in awe and wonder. I’m so thankful to be able to explore amazing places like this. Life on the road is the greatest gift.
