Description

Added by Hunter Casilio

Hyner View State Park is home to one of the most scenic vistas in Pennsylvania. It overlooks the west branch of the Susquehanna River and is commonly used for hang gliding.

If you're not a hiker but still want the view up high, this is the perfect drive for you. It's very simple to reach the overlook, once you arrive there is a parking area at the top and it's only a short walk away. Most of the time you can find runners, picnickers, and families viewing the valley below.  Wikipedia Page

Photograph Hyner View State Park Reviews

I've been here twice, both times I wasn't disappointed. If you are doing something around the area this is a must see, if you're lucky enough you will get the chance to watch hang gliders take off.
