Great Park,,, Crowded Camping
French Creek State Park is a great destination close to Philadelphia for those seeking any number of outdoor activities. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, paddling on the lakes, etc. That said, the camp grounds are quite cramped and crowded. For anyone who enjoys any type of solitude, "peace and quite" or "getting away from it all" from a camping experience, this is not your campground. Definitely make this park a destination on your day trip list for its many outdoor activities, just leave the tent at the house and pack a lunch instead.

Once parked, enter the trailhead and follow the trail down Dingmans Creek to the first set of falls. Try taking pictures from off the trail to the right of these falls.
