The trail is known for its steep inclines and rocky terrain, making it a challenging yet rewarding hike. The trail's highest point is at 1,070 feet, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. The trail is home to several unique natural features. Hikers will pass by a variety of flora, including Douglas fir and Western Hemlock trees. The trail also features a small creek, which can be crossed via a wooden footbridge. The trail leads to the abandoned Bohemia City, a ghost town that was once a bustling mining community in the late 1800s. The remnants of the town, including old mining equipment and dilapidated buildings, can still be seen today. Hikers are advised to wear sturdy footwear due to the rocky terrain and to bring plenty of water, especially during the summer months. The trail is best hiked from June to October.
