Distance: 6 miles roundtripElevation gain: 2,000 ftBreathtaking views of the Adirondack High Peaks and Lake GeorgeBest view of life on the lakeLake George Village, Bolton Landing, and Dome Island are all visible from this magnificent peak

Buck is a intermediate level hike that is three miles one way. Starting from the road, the trail takes you through a beautiful Adirondack forest. You will be under a canopy of spectacular foliage for the most part. The hike is tough at some parts, but you will be more than rewarded with the cool air and view at the top.

Make sure to follow the yellow markers!! There are a couple turns early on, don't take them. There is also a false top almost near the summit. It offers a great view as well, but a few more miles and you will be at the real summit. It is a beautiful hike that is not too difficult.
