Lake Placid, Lake George, the Saranac Lakes and Raquette Lake are some of the famous ones.Over one hundred summits, ranging from under 1,200 feet to over 5,000 feet in elevationDark night skies with the possibility of viewing the Northern Lights.Great foliage colors during Fall.

Directions to the Park:

From New York city get on to I-90 W to Amsterdam. Take exit 27 from I-90 WContinue on NY-30 N for approximately 46 miles to get to the Park.During my trip I visited Lake George, Lake Placid and Raquette Lake.I also hiked to Buttermilk Falls which looks very beautiful during fall.
