As a beginner hiker, it was a little strenuous on the way down. It is fairly steep at some points but nothing unmanageable. But for the view, it is so worth it. You can see the Bachelorville Bridge and the Great Sacandaga Lake to one side, and a beautiful Valley of rivers and streams and trees on the mountains. The panoramic view makes the entire trip worth it.
