This is an Amazing weekend backpacking trip to see some of the most scenic views and waterfalls along the Superior Hiking Trail!

Starting at Temperance River State Park along the lake at an elevation of 0 you climb to the peaks and valleys of the rolling hills along the Superior Hiking Trail. Along the trip we crossed the Temperance River, Cross River, Caribou River, and the Manitou River! Each River offers a unique Waterfall each more magnificent than the previous! We started at Temperance River State Park and hiked out to Dyers Creek and camped out which was around 10 miles. Then we hiked out to Horseshoe Ridge which was 12 miles from Dyers Creek, and finished by hiking to our vehicle which was parked 4 miles away at Manitou State Park.
