The M20 to Echo Dr section of the North Country trail spans 7.1 miles across beautiful countryside near Hesperia, Michigan. The trail features a beautiful river crossing, and dogs are allowed on leash.

The North Country Trail is available for use year-round, and appeals to a variety of activities. The trail is well maintained. The North Country Trail, located in Manistee National Forest, is approximately 4,600 miles long and was established in 1981. 

This is a great trail for hiking, snowshoeing in the winter, cross country skiing, or mountain biking. While the trail is great for all skill levels, make sure all members of the family are able to handle the mileage before setting out.
