My climbing buddy and I got the chance to climb at Manchester Wall in November during the Annual Richmond Climb-a-thon through VCU's Outdoor Adventure Program. We were 4 of the teenagers there and it was a ton of fun! This was our first of four stops on a 12 hour climbing set, and even though it was freezing cold it was really good climbing. They have two main climbing areas, the main wall with quite a few options for top rope and lead climbing, and a secondary stand alone pillar with top roping. We only climbed on the main wall and it was great I would highly recommend it! You definitely need to know what you're doing in terms of equipment , or else find a group to go with who does. They have routes/walls from 5.7 to 5.10 or .11, I did 5.7 and a 5.9 and it was challenging given the temperatures but the hold were great and challenging. Overall great! Definitely consider it :)
