Enjoy a cozy cabin 5 minutes to the beach, on our historic Alaska working farm, full bed in the loft, plus a single bunk, fridge, kitchenette, porch, and a private outhouse. The nearby lodge has showers, bathrooms, internet, and freezers.

The small one-room cabin has a full mattress in the loft, and a captain's bunk below, with linens and towels, provided. The kitchenette has basic cookware, a fridge, a cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes. Sit on the porch outside with your morning coffee and watch the animals graze in the pasture. Songbirds love Seaside, they are abundant here and sing all around the cabin. Ask about our farm fresh eggs! In August pick raspberries right outside your door! There's a tiny little outhouse right behind the cabin for your personal use, as well as the lodge bathroom and shower facilities right across the yard.

Guests have full access to the farm lodge 24/7, but a quiet time of 11 p.m. is enforced, and the last shower is at 9 p.m out of respect to sleeping guests in the lodge. Guests may not enter any areas where livestock is present, such as corrals, pens or fenced in areas. The main Farm Lodge is a shared space for bathroom use, showering, cooking or internet use, or just hanging out and watching a movie.

Parents are advised that the farm is not childproof, there are inherent risks on a farm, and children must be supervised at all times, and all signs and rules followed for everyone's safety.

I hope to meet all our guests though I may be busy working on the farm somewhere or helping other guests!

Our farm also provides a meadow for families to put up their tents, with a pavilion for campers to use, and a campfire which all guests may share as well. We also offer bunks in the dormitory for the occasional budget traveler or backpacker. Seaside is all about sharing and a community feeling and getting to know people from all walks of life, from different lifestyles and nationalities.

We like to remind guests that Seaside Farm is a working farm with livestock (horses, cows, chickens!!), wildlife, hayfields, fences, and machinery, so it is not "childproof". Parents are responsible for making sure their children are safe. Animals may not be fed without permission from the owners.

What is special about Seaside Farm? When staying here you get to experience the simple Alaska lifestyle, on an authentic pioneer homestead. Sometimes that means a tractor running around, or farm odors, or hired helping hands sharing the space. We are a real organic working farm, with space created especially for songbirds and their natural habitats.
