Nestled in the river valley & ready for cold weather! True romance!

Camp next to the majestic Delaware River in the comfort of a fully electrified and heated tent. The ultimate romantic getaway is now available in any season for the truly adventurous. Host has upgraded the tent for the winter season (until April 15) to include carpeted and insulated floor, woodstove, charming and powerful ‘fire burning’ electric heater, keurig coffee machine, and real 8” thick foam mattresses for any climate. For the fall months and until it snows, we will be including an open screened tent for dining. Across the road is our 5 bedroom farmhouse lodge for real bathrooms 24/7 and WIFI (rooms can be booked separately by request if you have extra guests or family that prefer indoor living). The farmhouse lounge is a great place to hang out and play games or use the common kitchen to make meals. Stay a day… stay a week... To tailor your visit to perfection please make sure to reach out to your host. We aim for perfection !

Explore local communities, shops, and restaurants, ski at Big Bear, or hike in local trails, and relax and read on a superb deck under a blanket by your campfire or woodstove. Fall, winter, and early spring are magical isolated times in the valley. Watch the river flow by and embrace a true 'back to nature' experience. It is roughing it -- with all the amenities. Within 10-15 minutes are the towns of Barryville, Yulan, and Eldred where you will find great spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Or try your hand at splitting wood and winter cooking on an open campfire.

Please note: canvas tent features a queen-size bunk bed for up to 4 people. An additional pop up tent is available upon request for extra guests. Only cell service is through Verizon and even that is not 100% reliable. Please make contact before -- if you have any questions or special needs. Winter camping means boots, shovels, and careful attention to weather patterns. It is a great place to hunker down in any storm, but make sure you have your provisions !
