Chock-full of history and character, this one-of-a-kind 4BR/3.5BA log cabin was moved to this huge plot of land in the early 1900s. Just minutes from the Cascade Village Lift, your deluxe log cabin offers unique accommodations and a prime location.

Inside, antique furniture, Western artwork, and beautiful hardwood floors set an upscale tone, while a detached greenhouse outfitted with a private hot tub and sauna make for an unforgettable and relaxing getaway.


The elaborately decorated living room features wrought iron light fixtures, two sofas, and a pair of armchairs.

The game room is outfitted with a leather sectional sofa surrounding a 65” TV. Craft a beverage at the wet bar with a mini fridge and then play a game at the four-person card table.


The open-concept kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and a full suite of all-black appliances. When it’s time to eat, gather around the dining table with seating for six.

A kitchenette attached to the second bedroom has a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, and a four-person dining table.


This home includes four bedrooms that sleep 10 guests. Three full bathrooms and a half bath are stocked with complimentary starter supplies of toiletries and bath amenities.

The well-appointed and spacious master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, armchair, and 32” TV. Down the hall, the first bathroom provides a walk-in shower with two shower heads.

The second bedroom offers a full-over-full bunk bed in addition to a sitting area with a sofa and armchair, as well as a well-equipped kitchenette. The en-suite bathroom features a tub/shower combination and can also be accessed from the hallway.

In the third bedroom, you’ll find a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed.

An additional bathroom with a walk-in shower is located in the detached greenhouse, and a convenient half bath is situated off the kitchen.


Featuring one of the largest backyards in Vail, this home boasts unparalleled outdoor space. In the winter, there’s a perfect sledding hill for kids and a wraparound deck offers seating for four.

The heated greenhouse includes a private hot tub and sauna. (Access to the detached greenhouse is via an exterior pathway.)


Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for five cars (one in the garage and four in the driveway). Please be aware that the driveway is very steep and 4WD is a must during the winter season.

Although this home is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with Vail’s mild summer temperatures.

Please note that a long-term tenant lives above the completely separate, detached garage, which is located behind this rental.


Tucked away on its own street, this home provides fantastic privacy and a prime location just a 6-minute drive from West Vail’s commercial center, where you’ll find a grocery store, restaurants, and other conveniences.

If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee.
