Sleeping bags, tents, campfires: in the real wilderness. There’s no better way to fully immerse yourself into the wild and intoxicating Denali scenery than to camp. Denali National Park & Preserve has 6 great campgrounds along Denali’s Park Road, each providing easy access to different areas of the Park and different camping experiences.

Dining
Hungry? The Morino Grill has you covered. Located next to the visitor center, it’s the only dining inside Denali National Park, and offers cafeteria-style array of options such as burgers, panini sandwiches, seafood chowder and even fish and chips. For those with dietary restrictions or desire gluten free or vegetarian options, they are available. The grill is open for breakfast and lunch, with coffee available at all times.

Riley Creek RV & Campground
Nestled among the spruce trees as you enter Denali Park from Parks Highway, Riley Creek offers 147 sites including accessible campsites conveniently located to many park amenities and great trailheads.

Savage River RV & Campground
Smaller in size and more remote, this site provides access to spectacular hikes and views of the Outer and Alaska Ranges – including Denali when it is visible. Accessible by shuttle bus.

Sanctuary Campground
Sanctuary Campground is true to its name: tucked off the road, it’s a small campground with only 7 tent sites available and is accessible by bus or on foot.

Teklanika RV & Campground
This campground is perfect for those who desire a truly remote camping experience among the backdrop of Cathedral Mountain and Teklanika River.

Igloo Campground
Igloo Campground is a 7-site campground located at Mile 35 on Park Road. There is a vault toilet available, no potable water, no hook-ups, nor other amenities.

Wonder Lake Campground
Wonder Lake is available to tent campers only and is the furthest campground from Denali Park entrance, offering incredible views of Denali National Park & Preserve and the Alaska Range in their full glory.
