Great for day hikes or staying overnight at one of the lakes. Lots of streams, small waterfalls, lakes to stop at. Water is crystal clear! Can get a little busy with day hikers during the day, but it's pretty easy to find a relatively isolated campsite along one of the lakes.

Must sign up for day permit at trail head, or sign up online for overnight camping.

Start at the Meeks Bay trail head near Homewood. Trail is clearly marked with signs. The trail is about 7 miles one way to Stony Ridge Lake, but many day hikers will stop at Lake Genevieve or Crag Lake.

After a flat area, you'll come to a split in the trail where you'll want to head up into the hills to hit the main incline part/lakes. For the most part, it's a gradual uphill hike with only a couple switchbacks before you hit Lake Genevieve.

Crag Lake is a short walk from there, followed by Shadow, Hidden, and Stony Ridge. Best campsites (flat ground, good views, isolated) are along the side of Stony Ridge or at Genevieve (if you can deal with day hikers).
