I decided to hike this in mid July, in 115 degree heat. Probably wasn't one of my best decisions but it was a cool place with very unique landscapes. Definitely need to go in the winter or early spring.

I thought that this was a nice short hike after hiking 18 miles in sequoia national park the day before. I didn't get the permits to climb half dome so I decided to do this little hike. It gave beautiful views of the valley
