Did this hike 4/9/16 --- most difficult hike I've done thus far, but yielded the best reward. The view from the top was spectacular, but come prepared for 2-3.5 hours of hiking up and another 1-2 hours getting down. Follow directions diligently (as the hike is not too easily accessed) and you'll be fine. Also, be sure to wear long pants and potentially even a thin long-sleeved shirt, as there is poison oak the ENTIRE WAY up lining both sides of the trails. Despite the intense climb and dangerous sections, I would HIGHLY recommend this hike to anyone who is looking for a straight-up adventure.
