Hike to the Goat Peak Lookout

12 Mile Drive Up rocky Forest Service Roads to get to the trail head, roughly an hour and a 1/2 driving time from the Mazama store. I find it strange that it's not mentioned in any books or on the web. Definitely keep that in mind when planning your trip. The hike is relatively short and very steep in some sections. With some hiking experience this hike will be manageable and worth the journey up to the fire lookout.
