My husband and I wanted to break in some of the new gear we got for Christmas, but we didn’t want to be out all day. This was nice, easy hike even though there was compact snow and ice. We did the Lloyd Trail plus a little extra loop around the Main Line and it ended up being about 3.88 miles. My watch clocked only a 197 foot elevation gain. We only saw one other couple on the trail in the two hours we were out, plus footprints of a few more whom we didn’t actually meet up with face to face. There was a sign on the bulletin board in the parking lot warning hikers of recent car prowls, but we didn’t experience that. Overall, great little hike with pretty scenery and some cool bridges/creeks. Would go again!
