Ventured up mount Allan last September. It's a fantastic hike! I would recommend you bring lots of extra water...and strong knees!

Hike Alberta's Grizzly Peak

It's a steep one! I read a review that described this a an easy, short hike. It's not. It's a tough hike/easy scramble. Saw a couple turn back early. They likely read that review too! Other than the final scree the only spot you'll really need to be hands on is the first rock face. Its pretty straight forward. Found it a wee bit tricky staying on the trail, especially on the way down. But easy enough to get back too.
