Backpack to Notch Lake

I went backpacking to notch lake for the first time and it was amazing, there were wildflowers all over the trail and the lake at the end of it was gorgeous. Make sure to catch it at sunset to the the sun set right in the notch. it was a pretty flat trail overall, great for beginners. there were a few tree's fallen over the trail but I cut the smaller ones out of the way. There are great fire pits at the lake with lots of dead wood to use just remember to use it sparingly. There were some small patches of snow left but it was plenty warm, just needed a hoodie at the lake because of the wind.
