It was quite steep so it exhausted me pretty fast and I went in the middle of the 95+ afternoon. Needless to say I went through a lot of water. Definitely start early and bring plenty of water. The view is alright. Just a section of the city. I didn't check out the more eastern peak, there may have been a nicer view on that side.

It's pretty steep at the beginning but it's well worth the work once you arrive at the peak. Scrambling across the boulders was by far my favorite part about the hike. If you go in the morning, consider bringing a light jacket or something like that because it's chilly early in the morning. It heats up pretty quick though so be prepared to take off some layers later in the hike. Alternatively, just get moving to warm yourself up near the beginning.

I started far too late and missed the sunset I was hoping for but it was an enjoyable trail. I was jogging on and off the way up and almost entirely the way down and it took a bit under 1:45. The way up has a few scenic points but the best by far is the view from Elephant Rock. And it's fun to climb the rock as well!
