Terry Trueblood Rec Area is a very heavily trafficked hiking site located near Iowa City.

Terry Trueblood Rec Area is a 1.9 mile loop hike that is a perfect choice for all skin levels. The trail is relatively flat but surrounded by beautiful a wooded area. There is a nice concrete trail fro runners to use if they want to run or walk around the lake loop. If you need a little escape from Iowa City, Terry Trueblood Rec Area is the perfect place to get away and soak up the nature around you.

The Terry Trueblood Trail takes you by Sand lake located near Iowa City, Iowa. There is a playlet nearby on the trail where children can play. In addition, dogs are welcomed in the Reception area and there is a great place for them to run around.

Nice and easy walk around the pond. There are kayak rentals as well, but have never done that. Just a few minutes from campus. I frequented this park a lot while studying at Iowa.
