Stop 3 of our epic adventure was Sun Valley, ID. I'd say it was 90% skiers to 10% snowboarders, but the terrain was pretty awesome and much steeper than I expected. After lodges that make the Ritz look like a Motel 6, I was pleasantly surprised with the dive bars and relaxed attitude of the restaurants and bars I visited in town. Cheap booze, legendary locals, and a Johnny Cash cover band...my kind of place.
