Description

A charming, quaint coastal town in southern Iceland.

You'll need a relaxing evening after a day of waterfall hunting, hiking, and white knuckle driving on Iceland's South Coast. Plan to explore and stay in Vik. There is great food, cold beer, and welcoming locals, not to mention its perfectly located in the middle of the South Coast.

There are plenty of places to stay, including some very affordable hostels if you're looking to spend your money elsewhere.

Not many towns in Iceland, this is a great place to regroup after intense activities or long miles without meeting a town. There are lovely restaurants and it was the first place we had a proper dinner after many days of camping, so it was a memorable moment for us!
