Beautiful location, unfortunately it is posted as no trespassing and citations will be issued if caught. The ground and surrounding water, including the crystal clear pond mentioned in the article, is contaminated with Lead and Arsenic that was used in the mining process when the facility was active back in the 1920's. I highly recommend that people stay away from the area and just admire it from the roadway the goes through this beautiful valley.
